  • Meet Laurence "Larry" Payne.

Larry is a two-time stroke survivor who, since his successful recovery, is now committed to promoting healthy lifestyles among people.  His message: don’t just be proactive about the warning signs, be proactive about your overall health.

In June 2006, Larry was walking to his car after a long day of work and fell over in the parking garage of his office building.  After being rushed to the hospital, he learned he had suffered a stroke.  This was very shocking news to him, considering he had no previous history of high blood pressure nor high cholesterol.  Larry soon learned the cause of his stroke was stress.  As he started his recovery, he suffered another stroke in August 2006.  After the second stroke, the doctors never expected Larry to walk or talk again.
